报告题目：Traversable wormholes and quantum gravity in a lab

In this talk, I will review some recent progress in quantum gravity and its simulation on quantum computers. Since quantum gravity is a very wide topic, I will focus on ER=EPR, traversable wormholes, teleportation, and a recent Nature paper about its simulation on Google’s Sycamore quantum processor. I will also discuss some future directions for a better simulation of quantum gravity.
Ping Gao earned Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2019 and now is a postdoc at the Center for Theoretical Physics of MIT. His interest includes holographic duality, quantum gravity, quantum information, quantum chaos, SYK model, and effective theory for hydrodynamics.
